Qingdao City FC has announced the appointment of its new coach after their relegation to China League Two (CLB) this season.
The club's board of directors announced that they have appointed former Chinese footballer and international manager, Li Xunhui, as their new head coach following their relegation from the China League One last season.
Li was previously the manager of Shanghai Shenhua F.C., a team that he helped win promotion to the league just two years ago. He had also been a member of the Chinese national team and played in several major tournaments before joining Shanghai Shenhua.
In his new role, Li will aim to build on the success of the club that he helped lead back to the top flight. He is expected to work closely with the coaching staff and players to develop a plan that will help Qingdao City FC regain their place in the CLB.
Despite the challenges that the club faces, Li is confident that he can deliver results. He believes that with the right approach and support from the club's fans and supporters, Qingdao City FC can continue to progress towards success in the next season.
However, it remains to be seen whether Li will be able to turn the club around and return them to the top flight once again. As always, only time will tell how successful he will be in his first season at Qingdao City FC.
